Hindenburg Air Swimmers

The Birth of Hindenburg Air Swimmers

The Shark, Clownfish, and the Mega Fliers family is the hottest RC toy out this year.

As we all know, the more popular these flying fishes get, the more problems will follow.
Like for instance, teenagers going around filling the balloons up with hot air instead of using Helium.

Oh and filling up the balloons with Hydrogen (hence the title “Hindenburg Air Swimmers”) then hear a big bang recreating the Hindenburg disaster that happened on May 6th, 1937.

Hindenburg Air Swimmers History Lesson

For those of you that don’t know about the disaster (don’t worry, I’ll keep this brief), basically a German airship/blimp called the LZ 129 Hindenburg caught on fire and pretty much blew up when it was trying to dock with its mooring mast at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station, which lead to killing 36 people. It was pretty popular with the media.

Scary huh? Well if you’re too spooked about buying your kids an Air Swimmer or Mega Flier, don’t be.
If you stick to using Helium everything will be fine. Just remember that if you’re planning to mod your fish, mod only the external accessories for your safety.

Modding Fish Safely

If you want to break this RC toy even further, more and more people will start racing the Air Swimmer Shark and Clownfish so it’s only a matter of time till we say that a “Hydrogen filled balloon” will be the least of our worries.
Why? Because people will start throwing all sorts of stuff on these toys in order to win.
And like I said a few posts back, it’s only a matter of time until people start modding the air swimmer and mega fliers shark, clownfish to shoot fireballs and stuff (okay maybe not, but hey!). I would mod my Big Mouth Bass to swallow my competitors somehow!

So all in all, the community can only advance from this product, so who knows what else those other companies out there will start manufacturing from this simple idea. One day we’ll stumble across a Hindenburg Air Swimmers
